Should managers do everything they can do to enhance the job satisfaction of their employees?

Or what?

Should managers do everything they can do to enhance the job satisfaction of their employees?
Some jobs are just plain boring. If this is the case, I think it should be joint responsibility between the manager and their employees to make the job more satisfying.





For example, the manager may provide a budget, but it's up to the employees how and if they use it.
