I believe that ego gratification is the highest satisfaction among the three human desires. Sensual pleasures gives you satisfaction from the moment you reach the plateau stage but the satisfaction at its highest is your self gratification. Remember that intellectual fulfillment satisfies the mind but the happiness you achieved is the end of it. After all, sensual pleasure and intellectual fulfillment will give you the ego gratification.

Reply:All of them, but most especially sensual pleasure. I love the feeling I get during a great love-making session. I float. It's absolutely the most wonderful feeling in the world. Thank you, endorphins!!! But a really good intellectual discussion stimulates the old brain cells as well. I don't know about ego gratification. I'm pretty content without my ego being stroked by anybody because I feel that most people who do that aren't sincere and I do not like hypocrites at all.
Reply:Definitely Intellectual, it's the catalyst. I'm a complex creature and Intellectual fulfillment leads to sensual pleasure on many levels. Stimulation of the mind awakens the soul and is most gratifying. For some a great conversation, the sharing of ideas or creative inspiration can be like experiencing a masterpiece. It heightens your senses on a deeper level that you can appreciate. Sensual %26amp; ego gratification by themselves are a fleeting high.
Reply:When I am hungry and eat a sumptuous meal It is sensual gratification.It will not last long..Ego gratification is the feeling of achievement.That will also not last. Intellectual fulfillment happens when I find answers .This is knowledge. It will be there for ever.Still there will always be more questions unanswered.There is no question of satisfaction.
Reply:intellectual fulfillment - I have made it my art form to process and when I have the knots released, there is nothing like the gratification. I am also a creative artist and the same thing is true it is great being in process with a piece of work but nothing to encountering a problem and finding a solution.It is such a sense of achievment

Reply:The highest satisfaction can only be had when all three come to together at the right time. Example: the sensual pleasure of a great meal during which a great intellectual discussion happens that leads to the bedroom. Than more and true sensual pleasure happens and right before your fall a sleep you hear the ultimate in ego gratification, but it also means so much more, " I Love you."

Reply:None of the above. Without emotional fulfillment I remain utterly dissatisfied. I think any of the above can occur without emotional fulfillment.
Reply:The most satisfiying thing for me is turning on someones "ah ha" light, which I suppose would be intelectual fulfilment.





Though I must fess up to substantial ego gratification when it's the "ah ha I should have sex with you" light. ;-)
