If you choose a carrer what would you all look for.....Better prospects,Brand name of the company,Salary the company is offering,future promotions.
If you get good salary then you would stick to the same company inspite of the worst environment the company is having or leave the company asap and find something new and where you can get what you want?

Have you heard of the concept of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs? I think that it would apply to your question.
Most people would put up with a lot for a job that they need to pay their bills or care for their children.
But money is only worth so much. If you can get a job for less salary in a significantly better work environment, and are still able to pay your bills, then I think that most people would change jobs for the better environment.
