Do you agree that satisfaction is its own reward?

..if so, in what circumstances have you found it true?

Do you agree that satisfaction is its own reward?
Hello,

(ANS) Any job or task no matter how big or small, if you really put yourself into doing a good job and its completed well. Then that is often a very complete feeling, a feeling of satisfaction and yes! that can be reward enough.

**Despite what others might say it is my opinion that this applies in ALL aspects of a persons life, even at work, even when you are being paid to do that job. Its NOT the money alone that should bring you a sense of satisfaction. It is having provided what the customer needed, or giving another person accurate information when they needed it, or if you are a taxi driver taken the passenger from A to B on time, there are thousands of examples I could quote.

**It's like sex or love making, its more about "giving" and how you give, the giving is a huge reward of itself. To see your partner satisfied is such a lovely thing its what makes people happy in my opinion.

**Alot of people in our society have sadly lost sight of the fact that giving can be a huge reward.

What you give is what you gain!!

What goes around comes around!!

Kind Regards Ivan
Reply:satisfaction is the true name of happiness, some one could have very little but, is satisfied by what he's got so he is much more happier than another person who's got so much but, is not satisfied with what he has.

and i don't think any one would be satisfied when he is passed over in promotion.
Reply:Yes it is true.I have found this out the hard way yet here is my story:after I messed up at the university where I attend, I had some great teachers last semester who pushed me,as well as me and my friends pushing me or my family not giving up on me.What was rewarding was the satisfaction that I did good on tests, quizzes, assignments, pulled a 3.0 GPA for the semester while dealing with 2 seizures on campus (am epileptic) as well as abdominal pains. What is rewarding in the end is knowing that you did something that you know that makes you happy or proud or rather shows you abilities to others around you because that is more than anything that makes people feel good about themselves. When you feel satisfied with the work or things you do in life you feel that you can accomplish anything which in turn is it is its own reward for keeping you motivating. The more driven you are,the better you will work to make the grades, the more you will compete or rather find a person in one of your classes who makes a grade higher then you and try to do better than the person w/o turning it into a competition or seeing how much improvement you make in the end.
Reply:only when doing something for myself.
Reply:I don't know much about satisfaction. But i suspect that things like: beauty, joy, happiness....are their own reward. They need only be what they are, %26amp; share themselves to be cherished %26amp; embraced
Reply:This only works if you have done the 'job' to yours or someone elses satisfaction, and we all have different ideas as to what is satisfactory and general expectation.
Reply:Satisfaction of a job well done is great depending on how much Duck tape you use .
