What little things in life give you the biggest satisfaction?

A glass of water when I am thirsty.

Two pieces of bread when I am hungry

A good place to sleep when I am drowsy

A good potteee when i cannot control it

What little things in life give you the biggest satisfaction?
Some of the things mentioned are really big I agree. Even that organic pile of compost would be big no matter how small Report Abuse

Reply:The snow coming down at night, when it is quiet, and not so cold.

The heat of the sun coming from a window, during a winter day. The cold crisp water on a summer day, and playing in the rain. The soup that stays on the spoon, and not in my lap. The paint that doesn't dry so quickly, allowing me to clean up. The hair that does what is asked. The stain that is gone after a wash. The car that goes the extra mile, when it is on empty. ...And mostly, the door that doesn't slam in my face.

Reply:the biggest little satisfaction is is just being. one of those moments when i can understnd my whole self. one of those moments.
Reply:The very answers to your question here attest to the fact that there really are no "little things" in life, are there? Everything is meaningful, satisfying, and precious in its own unique way. ... Unless of course, people consider children, love, wives, husbands, family, helping others, etc., "little things in life"! :-) If so, then I suppose "little things in life" should be redefined as "humongous meaningless things", like say A Big Pile of Organic Compost! ... I am afraid "linear thinking" isn't always as glorious and/or satisfying as it is made out to be. ... Great Question!

Reply:Respect, understanding, forgiveness, loyalty. No little things really but I guess I meant the little details you pick up that show that people are respectful , understanding and forgiving.Little actions that show that people care and understand.
Reply:catching other people in unselfconscious moments of satisfaction. I saw a little girl tap dancing her way down the Metro stairs once. As soon as she other people notice, she stopped. But for that brief time before hand, she looked so happy, it made me happy, too. I saw an older gentlemen having the best time feeding some squirrels. He was great. And he was having a great time. I like to see other people happy.
