What is the MOST PRACTICAL way of thinking to get the MOST SATISFACTION in LIFE?

Be specific.

What is the MOST PRACTICAL way of thinking to get the MOST SATISFACTION in LIFE?
Optimism and only optimism is the best way out for living life full of gaiety and laughter. And who is an optimist? One who always perceives glass half full is nearer to God than a pessimistic who visualizes glass half empty. The bickering of a pessimistic never stop! On the contrary... optimist always looks forward to life as a challenge... as a gift of God Almighty!

Life is not reaching the end of the journey... the journey itself is life! When Edmund Hillary reached the top of Mount Everest... he was the unhappiest man on Mother Earth. His exclaim... I have reached the end of my life... I have nowhere to go further... there is nothing higher than Mount Everest... my life shall stagnate now... he truly was disturbed on this account!

As of present... we find Bill Clinton a happier person than the present incumbent George Bush... the president of United States of America. It is all in our genes... our pattern of thinking! The cluster of positive thoughts... the most crucial asset of an optimist is what makes or mar a man! Riding on the waves of positive thinking... any human being can reach any goal of life!

Satisfaction and contentment in life are derived from happiness that comes from within. True happiness is not an asset only of rich people. The poorest of the poor may be worldly wise and happy! On the contrary... the richest of all may lead an unhappy life! Positive thinking is that ingredient in the life of all human beings that is crucial for a happy living!

It has been rightly said, "every human being is the sum total of all his thoughts at a given point of time". The difference between a king and a laborer lies in their pattern of thinking. As per the doctrine of karma... we only get what we sow... Nothing more or less! In the domain of God there are no free lunches. All is the result of a system that cannot err!

Indulging in vice one cannot expect a sunny disposition and godly thinking! Neither do mangoes grow on a guava tree! Whatever we desire out of life can be achieved by following a positive pattern of thought all the time. This is what made Bill Gates... the success story of all wise men! No successful person ever harbors thoughts of ill will about anyone whatsoever!

Harboring groveling and grousing thoughts... one falls into vice! Godly thinking leads towards a sunny disposition... a life full of satisfaction and happiness! Maintaining a positive attitude all the time is the real crux of life! Most human beings mar life by anger nor do one practice forgiveness. All human beings are born equal... the difference lies only in their thinking! More on thoughts - http://www.godrealized.org/truce_with_my...
Reply:Understanding that everything I experience and observe is only a reflection of what I am made of, or who I am, good, bad or indifferent. Only by understanding who we are and what abilities we have can we create a fulfilling experience called life.
Reply:There's nothing practical about satisfaction. You'll have to be more specific as to what satisfaction is.

Of course, I'll just say love, and I'm sure that's not specific at all to you.
Reply:Being grateful for what you have.
Reply:Think positive.
Reply:Lowering your standards to a realist level(for real)...! Understanding the limitations of life and those who live it near and far.

Focusing on the good aspects, and keeping all in perspective to the entirety of things not just a small circle of friends, a city, state, or even nation...

Example being that a cold, old pizza or any other "less than perfect" meal can be extremely satisfying if you remember there are those who watch their children starve to death... and are impotent to help themselves!
Reply:Two not so simple things stemming from one word:

Love others!

and(the hard part)

Allow yourself to be loved

Hope this Helps
Reply:peace, love, respect and appreciation
Reply:Think logically, try to see things as they are, not just as what you want them to be.
