What is the cheapest thing you have ever bought that has given you the most satisfaction?

I have 2 recent things....1. the monitor I am now using...I seen a man walking down the road about to throw it in the skip so I offered him a fiver for it and it works perfectly 2. I bought a kite for 3 quid last week and I've had hours %26amp; hours of fun with it!

What is the cheapest thing you have ever bought that has given you the most satisfaction?
I was visiting my boyfriend in Washington, D.C. in 1985, and I lost my very expensive Revo sunglasses. Without sunglasses, I basically can't see because my eyes will water continuosly. I saw a sidewalk vender who had some knock off sunglasses so I bought a pair that looked like Ray Bans for $4, and I still have them and wear them whenever I'm going camping or to an outdoor sporting event. They still look good and feel good and for some reason, I can't lose them. Best deal I ever made!

The thing I bought that has brought me the most satisfaction is the marriage certificate when I married my wife.

For me it was the bargain of the century, and still is.

I never want to lose her.

She is priceless

Reply:I think i have to put in a word for No Frills and Tesco Value Range here. We did not have these cheap foods years ago and there have been times when i have been grateful for being able to buy a 3p can of beans, sadly! Also had some great deals on ebay. Its amazing what you can pick up on there sometimes.

Reply:a chocolate bar, hey what can i say, im a woman with pmt, thats the best solution at times.
Reply:A canteen for my car. It was the round kind with a strap like they use in the cowboy movies. I'd sling it over the headrest on the passenger's side. Before I got that, I'd stop and put money in a Coke machine every time I got thirsty, but there's a dark side to the story. One night I was going into a building and somebody told me he'd seen someone messing with my car. I investigated and everything seemed normal. The next day I noticed my canteen was missing. I got another canteen and one night somebody broke a window on my car to steal it. After a few days of head scratching, I realized that in the dark the canteen looked like a woman's purse.
Reply:A condom!
Reply:A set of screw drivers from the quid shop. All sizes from the tiniest to a great big one. Well worth a quid.
