I answer a lot more questions than I ask, and get a lot of satisfaction from helping others as well as having?

Fun. However having asked answered a question, I look back at other peoples answers to the question a few hours later, I sometimes want to add another answer to my original one.





However there seems to be no facility to add another answer, is there one that I'm missing?

Look for the word in blue.





Note you can't alter your original answer as that is regarded as cheating, and don't plagiarize other people's answers.





You can of course, alter what you have written, but you could get a violation.
Reply:no there cant be 2 answers you can edit the answer to put in like a source or a fix misspelled word or add detail.


I use it if i remember something or see a word missing, thats why the edit button is there
Reply:If your asking a question and want to add detail go onto the button at the right hand side of the line and a box comes up with add detail or extend question time. Click that and it gives you access to type in additional information or comments. If you want to edit an answer there is a line under your reply with edit written in blue.
