How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction of all workers?
The factors of job satisfaction are:

1. Your likes and skills meet the the requirements of the job. If you like engines and have studied engineering, for instance, you'd love working as a development technician in G.M.'s future cars lab.

2. The people who are at the receiving end of your work appreciate what you have delivered to them. And they generously give their acknowledgment to you sincerely.

3. The job is flexible to allow you to do other things that can support your core work. Like travel and meeting like-minded people.

4. Pay may not make you rich but good enough to make you stay on the job.

5. Your immediate family supports you in the job you do. It doesn't bother them and you may even get helpful input.
