Customer value and customer satisfaction are synonyms?

Customer Value and Customer Satisfaction are not synonyms, although one may influence the other.





Customer Value is the customer's perception of the combination of price and quality/reward as it relates to a product or service.





Customer Satisfaction is how pleased a customer is with a product or company or its services.





Finally, Yes, non-profit organizations need to identify their target audiences. The more accurately a company can define its market, the better chance it has to reach their market. That holds true for non-profit organizations as well.





Identifying a target audience is particularly important for non-profit organizations because they usually can't afford to engage in mass market advertising - it's simply too cost prohibitive for them. They have to be much more selective and targeted in their approach.
