Is it happiness that motivates our will, or the need for satisfaction?

Do we do something for the sake of gaining happiness, or satisfaction?

Is it happiness that motivates our will, or the need for satisfaction?
Define satisfaction.


Being happy makes me satisfied. Conversely, being satisfied makes me happy. The terms seem interchangeable almost.
Reply:Satisfaction drives us towards our way to happiness.
Reply:i think that we do thing for the sake of our personal hapiness. but happiness brings satisfaction or the other way around.
