Do you do your job for the money or the satisfaction?

I am on minimum wage, but I would have it no other way, as the job I do now gives me a lot of satisfaction, I have had higher paying jobs but they did not give the the same satisfaction as this one.

Whats your views on this?

Do you do your job for the money or the satisfaction?
i do my job because i love it.my wage should be higher because of the job i do but i don't complain.

i work in a home for older people who have dementia %26amp; its not the easiest job in the world.it's very challenging %26amp; mentally demanding but i can go to work knowing i'm making a difference to someone elses life.no 2 days are ever the same so boredom isn't a factor.i wouldn't change jobs no matter what.
Reply:I just left a job i was doing. I started off loving the job and was on small income, as i progressed the money got much better but it became unbearably oppressive.

I'm about to start a new job on Monday and hopefully i'll really love it
Reply:Money. I get absolutely no satisfaction.....
Reply:The money, as after a while most jobs get boring...

It depends really on the cash difference as you can make up for a boring job that has more cash in your spare time..
Reply:money money money, and a little bit of satisfaction when i get paid.
Reply:money

dollar dollar bills yall
Reply:For the last 7 years I definitely worked for the money as I had bills and people that relied on me.

Before this i worked in a job i loved, every day I could not wait to go to work. I loved the people I worked with and i was happy. But i could only juggle my bills, never did i have a month without worrying how I would pay every thing. I knew I needed a life away from that stress . So I got a better job that I convinced myself every day was ok but some days i really hated it and the competitive bitchy people I worked with.

I do believe there is a job that i can enjoy and has other conscientious hard working, non back bitting people that wont stab me in the back but help each other out, like myself. I just have to find it.I still need a managerial position and want a challenge but would be happy with less money and a whole lot more work satisfaction!
Reply:honestly, i do my job for the mula baby! Man, since i dont really know what i want to do in life yet. this job pays the bills untill i figure that out. I can afford things i need as well as things i want which, for now will do untill i have enough to be able to do wutever it is that brings joy to my heart.... and money in my pocket.......... matter of fact, i think i will turn the "job for saticfaction" into a hobby and keep the best of both worlds....
Reply:I work purely for the money.
Reply:I'm in my job for 100% job satisfaction. The salary is absolutely disgusting for what I actually do, but I so adore watching children grow intellectually, knowing that I might have played a small part in their growth :-)

And like you, my previous career path was so much better paid but what's the point in more money when you're not 100% satisfied.
Reply:only no how to pull pints been doing it 30 years
Reply:Money!
Reply:The money is very important with every job that I take but I must ultimately enjoy the job, otherwise I move on.
Reply:MONEY BAIIBEEE
Reply:mainly for the money.family with 4 kids ha ha
