How does a hospital improve employee satisfaction?

My theory is and literature backs this up, that employee satisfaction is directly linked to customer satisfaction.

How does a hospital improve employee satisfaction?
By listening to the employees concerns-even the gripes and actually doing something about it. You can have 50 meetings, but at the end of the day you don't show how management is committed to employees, those whose issues weren't addressed become the 'dissenters'. It is tough, but do-able as long as there is FULL commitment from higher.
Reply:Your first answer was absolute drivel.

Give them the Best environment to work in, the tools to do the job efficiently.

It's the same services and industry, treat them well, pay them what is considered to be correct money for that work,

Give them job satisfaction and you will have a happy team,

who will perform to there best ability and in so doing give customer satisfaction.
Reply:Employees are customer of hospital and patients are customers of employees. If an employee ask for some thing he becomes a customer of management of hospital.
