Did you choose to do something you really like and knew you would enjoy doing, or something you knew would make it easy to find a job and/or make money for sure?
When choosing a career did you choose on what would give you more money or more satisfaction?
Always choose what will give you satisfaction. Chasing money is a waste of time.
Reply:i guess satisfaction if u have satisfaction in life u are intersted in that work otherwise money u can earn by hardwork also and when u have both satisfaction and money then :)
Reply:I'm with you. You should spend your time doing what you enjoy or what you believe in. I always wanted to help children who had it tough. There is no money in it. But, I feel that if I can be a positive influence on some child, my life means something. I chose this way to go because some one helped me and I just wanted to keep the good Karma going.
Reply:In the long run, you'll want to be happy. But that doesn't mean you should close your mind to all the careers that include your interest(s). For example, I like to write. There are many fields in which I could work, but I chose TV news. The pay was horrible when I first started, but now, after hopping jobs and towns, I'm doing SO much better.
You can find something that will satisfy you and compensate you, you'll just have to look. And pay some dues.
Anything's possible!

How do you define Job Satisfaction?
1) Locational advantage
2) Good office/work place ambience
3) Treatment meted out to you by the organisation
4) Congenial relationship with your boss/colleagues
5) Scope for promotions
6) Appropriate salary
7) Scope for your value addition to the job that you do
All these seven parmeters contibute to your job satisfaction. Am I right?
How do you define Job Satisfaction?
Simple, looking forward to work each day and enjoying it while youre there.
Reply:All correct.
9)Knowing you have done something really efficient or productive
10)Not being bored by repetitive tasks
11)Finding new challenges exciting
12)Having a decent amount of holidays
Reply:After personal experience, I can safely say that job satisfaction is a job where you are happy in doing. Each person is different so each of us have different factors in deciding how happy they are at a job. With the factors above, I would say 1, 3 and 4 as being the most important with 2 and 5 coming in close second. As for salary, I would rather do a job that I love for low pay, than a high paid job which leaves me feeling suicidal.
Reply:Mine is just not wanting to kill myself at the end of the day
Reply:Job satisfaction can be defined as when you're doing a job that you love with a passion; a job that is in line with your talent will always bring out the best of your potential.
Reply:Job satifaction to me is doing a job I love with a passion if you love your job with a passion there is no problem. All you write above helps of course it does but if you do not love what you do what is the point doing something you do not like makes your day miserable. If you are miserable you are less productive, will not get promotion, doubt you will enjoy your fellow workers, salery may reflect by poor performance and so on.

Men with feminist partners reported both more stable relationships and greater sexual satisfaction?
Research conducted by Laurie A. Rudman, a psychologist at Rutgers University, also seems to point to a hot soapy love connection. Her study, recently published in the journal Sex Roles, looked at feminism’s impact on romantic relationships. Among other things, she found that men with feminist partners reported both more stable relationships and greater sexual satisfaction.

Men with feminist partners reported both more stable relationships and greater sexual satisfaction?
Gee....Laela, not to single you out but....you didn't even answer the question.
Where did it say that the men here are being "lorded" over, when it's the men that are "stepping up to the plate".
Did most of who responded negatively even bother to read the article?
Anyway...to ANSWER the question, I believe that because feminism has given women more options to either choose to stay at home AND to work, men aren't completely obligated to go out there just be sole breadwinners.
Women who believe in a fair balance (feminists) isn't going to assume that because she's a woman in the relationship, that a man is automatically going to take up the role of financial provider simply because gender roles of old had dictated it. She'd also contribute financially especially if the dude she's with isn't a Heart Surgeon or a Wall Street trader.
It's the flip side for a man who just assumes that traditional roles still apply and when he comes home before his wife/girlfriend does and there are dishes still in the sink, he's just going to assume that since she's a woman and that's HER thing to do: cook, clean, help the kids with the homework, check to see if there is food in the fridge, etc….while he goes off and does his own thing that he identifies as being "masculine" in his duties.
If there are dirty dishes to be done and wifey isn't around to do it, he just DOES it because it needs to be done, and isn't about to get into p*ssing match about the fact that since he got the "cajones" around here that he shouldn't EVER be stuck doing the dishes, PERIOD.
It's all about the woman making the man's like easier and less burdensome and the man making a woman's life easier and less burdensome, where we aren't always assessing things from a gender role standpoint.
It's all about balance...

Feminists have also freed men from having to live up to old fashioned male sexism - like that men have to be tough all the time and be the breadwinner and super successful. I mean, men still face that kind of pressure, but it's a lot less now that feminists (both male and female feminists) have questioned it.

What kind of satisfaction do hackers get from giving people computer viruses?

Also when using a internet connection which is constantly running even when your computer is shut off, pull the connection out of the wall to keep hackers from further abusing your computer. Now, of course, with all the laptops in town, anyone can use your internet service without you even knowing they are doing so.

What explains the recent declines in employee job satisfaction?
The Economy is a bad Bush Economy right now. People are stressed out all of the time over money. Everyone is always looking for the next best thing job wise and looking at how much money they can get paid rather than other factors of the job itself.
